Father accused of murdering 9yo son pleads not guilty

Bradyn Dillon was fatally injured at a house in Jacka early this year.

A Canberra man accused of murdering his nine-year-old son earlier this year has pleaded not guilty, and been committed to stand trial in the ACT Supreme Court.

Graham Stuart Dillon, 37, was arrested after police were called to a house in Jacka in Canberra's north in February.

His son, Bradyn, was found injured at the address and taken to hospital, where he later died.

Further details about the death are yet to be handed to the court.

Dillon is facing charges including murder and several counts of assault, and has been behind bars since he was arrested and charged in February.

He looked on today in the ACT Magistrates Court as his lawyer entered pleas of not guilty, before the case was committed to the ACT Supreme Court for trial.

The matter will be back in court on September 1.
