Police have named a 25-year-old who died after being struck by a car in Fife on Thursday 6 February as William Fisher from Glenrothes.
At around 8.25 pm on Thursday evening, Fisher was struck by a silver Vauxhall Vectra whilst crossing Formonthills Road, Glenrothes.
He was taken by ambulance in a critical condition to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where he later passed away.
The 42-year-old male driver of the Vectra was not injured.
Sergeant Ewan Pearce said: “Our thoughts are with Mr Fisher’s family at this difficult time and our enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances of the crash.
“Anyone with information or dash-cam footage that could assist who has not yet spoken to police is asked to contact the Road Policing Unit in Glenrothes by calling 101, quoting incident 3532 of 6 February.”
