A road has been shut after a fatal crash involving a motorbike and a car.
Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating the collision, which happened on the A483 near Llananno in Powys just after 12.30pm on Sunday.
The crash involved a white Aprilia motorbike and a grey VW Touran.
The road between Llanbister and Llananno has been shut in both directions since around 1pm, and is not expected to open before 7pm.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said a road ambulance and air ambulance were called to the scene at 12.35pm. Rescuers were unable to save the person's life and they were declared dead at the scene.
