Fastest Players in Madden 26 Ranked

The offensive prowess of a team in American Football depends mainly on two things: the AWR of the QB and the SPD of the WRs. We’ve already covered the best QBs, so now it’s time to talk about the fastest players in Madden 26. While this list isn’t position-favoured, you’ll soon see that it mostly contains WRs, since they require the highest SPD stat.

Also, note that Madden 26 has 11 players with 96 SPD. Once we enter that category, we’ve applied a second filter for OVR, meaning the highest OVR players with 96 SPD have been picked. For the full list of players according to SPD, you can visit EA’s official ratings page.

Xavier Worthy – 99 SPD

  • POS: WR
  • Team: Kansas City Chiefs

Xavier Worthy takes the top spot in Madden 26 as the fastest player across the entire roster. Worthy is the only player with a 99 SPD stat, beating out several 99 OVR players. The impressive part is that his OVR is only 80, making speed his favourite niche. The 5’11, 165lbs WR for the Chiefs is also one of the lighter players on the squad. This allows him to outrun most defensive linemen, but with 78 TGH, he’s very vulnerable to heavy hits.

Looking at his stats, Worthy has 99 SPD, 98 ACC, and 89 AGL. His JMP and INJ are also at 90 and 91, respectively, allowing him to dodge out of some tricky situations. Still, Worthy isn’t a one-trick pony. He has admirable Ball Carrier and receiving stats as well, making him a well-rounded WR. As for how he’ll perform on the field, that’s to be seen once Madden 26 releases.

Jameson Williams – 98 SPD

  • POS: WR
  • Team: Detroit Lions

If you’re wondering when the 95+ OVR players arrive, you’ll have to wait some more, as the second-fastest player in Madden 26 is 82 OVR Jameson Williams. Williams is a WR for the Detroit Lions and has a whopping 98 SPD in Madden 26. If that isn’t enough, he also has 96 ACC and 95 AGL to accompany the speed stat. The right-handed WR stands tall at 6’2 and weighs only 189lbs, allowing him to run circles around the heavier defensive linemen.

Other notable stats for a WR are the Spin Move and Juke Move attributes. Williams has 78 and 86 in those categories, which are above-average stats for a WR with 82 OVR. While he might not be the most ideal WR in the game, give him a vertical hot route with a deep pass, and he might just get a touchdown. Williams won’t be someone you can sideline easily, so make sure you’ve got him covered when going against the Lions; otherwise, he could spell your team’s loss.

Tyreek Hill – 98 SPD

  • POS: WR
  • Team: Miami Dolphins

We’ve finally hit our first 90+ OVR player. Tyreek Hill shares the No.2 spot with Jameson Williams with 98 SPD. The only difference is that Hill will be showcased with a 95 OVR in Madden 26. The 5’10, 191lbs WR for the Dolphins is one of the fastest players you’ll see on the field this season. He’s got 98 SPD, 98 ACC, and 97 AGL, which, when combined, are slightly better than our first two athletes. Hill also has a 95 in Juke Move and 81 in Spin Move, making it pretty hard to pin him down.

The attributes we want to focus on with him are his receiving stats. It’s no surprise that he has a phenomenal stat spread, with 95 in both Short Route and Medium Route Running, and 94 in Deep Route Running. This makes him quite versatile. You could play him in a variety of different plays, e.g, run-heavy, pass-heavy, or RPOs. Still, if you want to unlock his full potential, learn to play around his strengths rather than just throwing him onto the field.

Brian Thomson Jr – 97 SPD

  • POS: WR
  • Team: Jacksonville Jaguars

Next up, we’ve got Brian Thomson Jr with 97 SPD. Thomson Jr will be playing as the WR for the Jacksonville Jaguars this season and will be a slippery player to stop. Not only does he have 97 SPD, 95 ACC, and 88 AGL, but his Juke Move and Spin Move are at 87 and 80, respectively. Thomson Jr is one of the heavier WRs we’ve seen on here, weighing in at 209lbs. That doubles as an advantage, as he has 87 TGH, a solid TGH stat to have.

Other notable stats revolve around his receiving attributes. Deep, Medium, and Short Route Runnings are at 86, 84, and 82, respectively, which are not bad stats by any means. You should prefer deeper routes with this player, considering his 86 Deep Route Running and 88 Catching. He’ll be most useful against blitzes where you can easily break up the defensive line.

Jaylen Waddle – 97 SPD

  • POS: WR
  • Team: Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins seem to be in good shape for Madden 26 with not one, but two of the top 10 fastest players on the roster. Tyreek Hill’s teammate, Jaylen Waddle, has made it onto our list with 97 SPD, ACC, and AGL. What’s surprising, though, is that these stats are on par with Tyreek Hill, even with the 10-point OVR disparity between the two. Waddle sits at 85 OVR, but his speed is unparalleled by anyone in his OVR bracket. Waddle’s JMP, STM, and INJ are all bordering 90, which means he can play the long game without getting fatigued.

The downside in his stat spread is his Ball Carrier and Receiving attributes. Juke Move and Spin Move are 86 and 80, respectively, while Catching, Deep, Medium, and Short Route Running are all around 82. These aren’t the best stats, and he might fumble passes a few times, but once he has the ball, he’s bound to get double digits in yardage. Alternate passes between him and Tyreek Hill to keep the opposition on its toes.

KaVontae Turpin – 97 SPD

  • POS: WR
  • Team: Dallas Cowboys

KaVontae Turpin rounds up the 97 SPD category with a 75 OVR. Turpin, who will play for the Dallas Cowboys this season, is one of the lowest OVR players on this list, yet he could still give you a run for your money. He’s got 97 SPD, 94 ACC, and 92 AGL, which are amazing stats for his OVR. His Juke Move is also on par with other players on the list at 86, meaning he’ll have some tricks to dodge violent tackles.

There’s not a lot to see in Turpin’s stat spread, unfortunately. His Ball Carrier and Receiving stats are slightly below average, but in the right situation, he might just surprise you. However, you don’t want him taking on DEs like Chris Jones and Dexter Lawrence II since they might put him out of commission for a few games. If you decide to play with the Cowboys, try automated motion plays to pull some defenders off Turpin before giving him the ball.

Lamar Jackson – 96 SPD

  • POS: QB
  • Team: Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson, the right-handed QB for the Baltimore Ravens, starts us off for the 96 SPD category. Jackson is one of the highest-rated players in the game, with a 99 OVR, making him well sought after. He has an exemplary stat spread across the board, with major peaks in General, Ball Carrier, and Passing attributes. Regarding speed, he has 96 SPD, 95 ACC, and 94 AGL. Combine these stats with his passing, and he’s a powerhouse you cannot ignore.

Jackson is also our first non-WR on the list, so we’ll be focusing on different attributes for him. His AWR is 97, TGH at 96, and Break Sack at 98. His passing stats are all in the high 90s, so that’s not something you’ll need to worry about. Overall, Jackson is a top-tier QB who is bound to secure good yard gains every game. He doesn’t have a lot of weak spots, so take the Ravens out for a practice run to see where he works best.

Christian Gonzalez – 96 SPD

  • POS: CB
  • Team: New England Patriots

Next up on the list, we’ve got Christian Gonzalez. Gonzalez is the CB for the New England Patriots and has an OVR of 95. He’s 6’2 tall and weighs 200lbs, equipped with the Manto Man archetype. Gonzalez’s speed stats are 96 SPD, 93 ACC, and 92 AGL. While we agree the AGL and ACC could be slightly higher, he makes up for it with insane defensive prowess. In his general attributes, the other two noteworthy stats are his AWR at 96 and JMP at 95.

Since he’s a defensive lineman, it’s essential that we look at his Defensive stat spread more than anything. Gonzalez boasts an impressive 97 in Play Recognition and 96 in Man Coverage. A high man coverage stat means he can go toe-to-toe with fast WRs like Xavier Worthy, or even Tyreek Hill. Play Recognition helps greatly against QBs like Lamar Jackson, who switch plays on the fly with hot routes. Overall, Christian Gonzalez is a top-tier CB who is a valuable asset to the team.

Terry McLaurin – 96 SPD

  • POS: WR
  • Team: Washington Commanders

We’re coming close to the end of the list, and Terry McLaurin has made the cut with 96 SPD and 94 OVR. McLaurin will be the WR for the Washington Commanders in this upcoming season in Madden 26. Weighing in at 209lbs and 6’0, McLaurin plays with the Deep Threat archetype and has an extraordinary stat spread. His speed stats feature 96 SPD, 91 ACC, and 86 AGL.

McLaurin’s receiving is pretty well-rounded, with all three route running stats around 91. His Release is also at 95, making him one of the best (and fastest) WRs around. If you’re looking for trick moves to dodge defensive linemen, his Juke Move is at 88 while Spin Move is at 78. If you look at the complete stat spread, he has several niches he excels in while falling behind in certain areas. Experiment with him to find out how to unlock his full potential.

Malik Nabers – 96 SPD

  • POS: WR
  • Team: NY Giants

Closing out our list is another WR, this time for the NY Giants. Malik Nabers just barely clutches the final position with 96 SPD and 87 OVR. His TGH is at 88, which is on the higher end, as well as his JMP at 96. You can confidently pass the ball to him, knowing he can outpace most defensive linemen.

Nabers also has an 89 in Juke Move and 82 in Spin Move, which is better than several WRs with higher OVRs. Finally, let’s take a look at his receiving attributes. Most of his stats, like Catching, Deep, Medium, and Short Route Running, are in the high 80s, which is what you want to see in a WR. You might still want to go with a short pass into a hot route if you can, to maximise his running potential. Otherwise, you might end up with an early sack.
