Kinnoull’s rapid start paved the way for a comfortable weekend victory against Lochore Welfare.
A double from Rhys Davies (pictured) set the ball rolling before Pat Brown found the net – all before the 11th minute.
Hosts Lochore did pull one back after the break but the Perth side were never in danger of letting their 3-1 lead slip.
Manager Alan Cameron said: “I was very pleased with our start to the game and the way we took it by the scruff of the neck early on.
“It was exactly the reaction we were after following Wednesday’s defeat and showed the spirit and togetherness there is in the squad as everyone played their part.
“Lochore did well to recover from our blistering start but we were always in control and, being greedy, I would have liked it to be more comfortable than the final score was but I’m happy to take the three points at a very tricky venue.”
Kinnoull sit one point off the top of the Conference B and Cameron added: “We are happy to be in the mix challenging the top teams.
“As I have said previously the league is very close but that’s due to the fact that, on their day, any of the sides can defeat each other which makes it very competitive and makes for an interesting season.”
