A fast food worker has shared the reason you should never order your drink with ice.
A member of staff went viral and shared how just much liquid you get when you have ice in a soft drink - and people are calling it a 'rip off'.
The warning also applies to any fast food joint you visit - from McDonald's, Subway and Burger King, to KFC, Five Guys and more.
In a Tik Tok video, the staff member, who works as a Dunkin' Donuts, decanted the drink from a cup to another without ice.
He went on to say you actually get about half the amount of liquid.
Talk about a waste of money, eh?
Tik Tok users flocked to have their say and admitted they were shocked by the revelation.
Some said they would not order ice with their drinks on their next visit to McDonald's, Burger King or Subway.
One Tik Tok user wrote: "That's why I don't ask for ice, it takes up too much space and it waters the drink down."
"I always ask for no ice and then just add ice when I get home," warned a second.
"Doesn't surprise me," wrote a third.
"What a rip off," another fumed.
Some were not surprised by the news and commented that this has been a tactic of fast food chains for quite some time now.
It comes as McDonald's has been hit by drink shortages after some branches were left unable to serve milkshakes and bottled drinks.
The fast food giant has been hit by supply chain issues reportedly caused by a lack of lorry drivers resulting in the items being pulled from menus.
