Proposals to transform an old Ayrshire bookmakers into a fast food takeaway have been submitted.
The former Coral betting shop at 16 Lindsay Drive in Kilmarnock could be handed a new lease of life if plans are given the go ahead.
Gugy Summel, who owns the New Farm Premier Store next door, is behind the bid according to documents lodged with East Ayrshire Council planners.
Mr Summel wants to alter the use of the property from a vacant licensed bookmakers to a fast food takeaway.
East Ayrshire Council planners will rule on the proposals for the ex-bookies unit at a future date.
