Rangers fans could hear from Fashion Sakala by the end of this week as the striker prepares to reveal his summer transfer intentions.
The KV Oostende striker will leave the Belgian Pro League side after a fairytale season.
Oostende, who also have on-loan Celtic defender Jack Hendry among their ranks, secured a fifth place finish during the regular season and are now involved in a series of play-offs to determine European qualification.
First up are Standard Liege and Sakala has told media in the country that he'll announce his choice of club after the match.
It means Ibrox supporters may want to keep their eyes peeled for news late on Saturday night if the Zambian frontman is speaking straight after full-time, with the game slated for a 7.45pm kick-off.
Speaking to Belgian newspaper De Krant van West-Vlaanderen, Sakala said: "The club is granting me a transfer, everything will be completed this week.
"I want to make my choice known after the match against Standard on Saturday."
As reported earlier this week by Record Sport a contract offer has arrived from Rangers and Ibrox appears to be his likely destination despite reports of interest from the English Premier League and France's Ligue 1.
