Fashion Sakala in final Rangers transfer farewell as striker prepares for Oostende swansong

Rangers-bound Fashion Sakala has sent a final message to KV Oostende supporters ahead of his final game for the club.

The attacker has agreed a four-year deal with Steven Gerrard 's side and will join up with his new team-mates in the summer.

He will take to the pitch for the final time tonight in Belgium ahead of his move to Ibrox against Standard Liege.

Ahead of his last showing the attacker delivered an emotional farewell as he shared a video of when he first signed for the club in 2018 from Spartak Moscow.

He wrote to his story alongside the clip: “I asked for the support from KVO fans when I came 3 years ago and they supported me in bad and good moments. Thanks KVO fans, I appreciate.”

The Zambian international has netted 16 times for Oostende as the club mounted a surge towards the European spots.

The club are in the European play-off group going into the final game of the season but will miss out as they trail Mechelen by four points.

Sakala is the second player to seal a deal at Rangers this summer with Nnamdi Ofoborh also agreeing a pre-contract move from Bournemouth to the Premiership.
