Fashion Sakala could make Rangers transfer choice this weekend as striker announces he's set to reveal all

Rangers target Fashion Sakala is set to choose his next club this weekend.

The in-demand KV Oostende star has announced he will reveal all following the Belgian side's league meeting with Standard Liege on Saturday.

The Daily Record reported this week that Rangers have offered the striker a four-year deal and are in pole position to bring him to Ibrox.

Sakala insists Oostende have granted the out of contract star permission to seal a deal and he's eager to let the world know where he's off to next.

He told De Krant Van West-Vlaanderen: "The club is granting me a transfer, everything will be completed this week.

"I want to make my choice known after the match against Standard on Saturday."

Transfer activity at the Premiership champions appears to be ramping up and boss Steven Gerrard was quizzed over potential signings at his Friday press conference.

Sakala was one of two names put to the manager as he prepares his team face Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday.

Heerenveen's Joey Veerman is the other but Gerrard kept his cards close to his chest.

He said: "There were couple of names a week before and a week before that. If there’s anything to say in terms of ins and outs, I will be the first to tell you.

"We are tracking certain individuals to try and make the group stronger when the window opens. I don’t think it’s the right time to mention individual names or targets that we’re looking at."
