Fashion retailer Primark has officially opened its new Tamworth store.
The retailer is welcoming its first customers today (29th) to what is the brand's 191st UK branch.
The new store, which is located on Venture Park in Tamworth, spans more than 36,400 sq ft over two floors, and boasts everything from clothing for men, women and children to accessories, beauty and homeware.
More than 170 new jobs have been created with the opening.
Neil Ford, director of sales said: "We are delighted to open our new store in Tamworth this morning. Our new store is fully stocked with fresh new season fashion, all at Primark's famous amazing prices.
"Between our great value, everyday must-haves and hot new season trend collections, we've got everything that customers have been waiting for in our new Tamworth store. We are asking customers for their support in adhering to social distancing and safety measures, both while queuing outside and in-store, to help maintain a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for all."

BirminghamLive reports that crowds of shoppers formed a queue outside the new store ahead of its opening at 10am, but only a limited number of customers were allowed in at any one time due to current Government restrictions.
