Crocs are a bit like Marmite. You either hate them or you love them. There was a time when for many, they were seen as a wardrobe guilty pleasure, only to be worn in the comfort of your home.
But now, Crocs appear to have become the must-have footwear, particularly among young fashion fans.
The brand has been going since 2001, and in that time has sold over 300,000 million pairs. These days Crocs now available in a variety of colours and in collaboration with popular brands. You can also buy a range of accessories to style and personalise them.

A pair of classic Crocs will set you back around £45 on the Crocs website, but a £12 dupe of the footwear has gone viral on TikTok.
Many content creators have already shared their reviews and comparison of the 'TikTok Crocs' racking up hundreds of thousands of views. One video by user rightguyreviews sees him compare the dupes next to the real thing.
In the TikTok - which 32.4K likes - he described the look as 'exactly the same' as he holds up the version from TikTok Shop and asks 'how do they compare' to regular Crocs.
The user details the similarities in the patterning of the inside and bottom of the clogs and the placement of the holes on top of the shoe but remarks how the price is "completely different".
Despite them being very much 'in' with the fashionistas, the clogs received a polarising response in the comment section.
One commenter who is staunchly against the footwear said: "I’d rather walk barefoot over broken glass than wear crocs!". Another who was stumped a the prices said: "Swear crocs used to be about three quid."
While another was quick to comment on how the reviewer did not mention how the comfort of the dupes faired to the originals, the viewer left a comment saying: "Didn't even talk about how they actually feel on foot.... Like the most important! Comfort!".
