Fashion as per usual at Billboard Music Awards 2022

The 2022 Billboard Music Awards dropped 5 new categories this year, with 4 founded on Billboard’s first authoritative global charts and one measuring viral songs. This sums up to a total of 62 categories to be awarded today. NBC was covering live coast-to-coast early Monday morning with many celebrities flaunting the best of their looks per usual. The MGM Grand Garden Arena In Las Vegas had music lovers and finalists walking in to gain a victory this year again. Winners are based on key fan interchanges with music, full record and digital deals, streaming, radio airplay, and social engagement, tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including MRC Data. It includes new releases during the period dated April 2021 to March 2022 as per the recent announcement made by them on Twitter. The Billboard Music Awards hold a history of 30 years and every year is music renewed with new artists curating their skills in order of popularity, lyrics and the latest melodies.

Billboard’s best fashion

Music artists and celebrities generated some interesting fashion styles on the red carpet on Sunday. Let's have a look at some well-dressed picks from The Billboard Music Awards

We rank Doja Cat at the top of the list with “Kiss Me More” as the biggest hit for the year. This hitmaker dropped some serious F for Fashion goals with beautifully elaborated gold earrings by Bijules Jewellery covering her top with Agent Provocateur, dressed in Schiaparelli’s black attire. Her make-up courtesy was by none other than Pat McGrath creating a divine Doja look with cut crease eyeshadow, creating a gold corner underlining in black. Winning Top R&B Artist and Top R&B album with her record “Planet Her” she shines bright for the occasion.

Anitta flaunted her glittering carpet moment in Fendance (Fendi/Versace) Pink Metalmesh gown, she sparkled her Brazilian body curves along with glittery eye make-up. Partying later with Chloe Bailey, Becky G, and Cara Delevingne. Her eye makeup had pink glitter and Diamond studs going well with a simple tennis bracelet styled necklace and earrings.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly continue to cord in black for the red carpet. Their confession to drinking each other’s blood did create a stir amongst the netizens some time ago. This pop-punk couple chose blinged black; Megan opted for a high slit corset gown by David Koma with floral-appliqued opera gloves while MGK wore Dolce & Gabbana suit with spiked pants. Megan’s make-up was dark gothic smokey eyes with glamorous hair bangs while MGK flaunted his pink hair mess and teardrop stud.

Another couple's goal in music and fashion turns towards Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott with their baby Stormy. Kylie wore the sultry yet sophisticated look 98 from the Balmain FW22 Runway with custom golden accessories which seems to be the best junk in jewels for this season. While Travis opted for green & white sneakers and a dark grey suit. BBMA took place on the same day as Kourtney Kardashian’s surprise wedding.

BTS boys made history wearing all black and won three out of six awards. Jack Harlow looked in total perfection in all black with just a hint of shine studded courtesy of his earrings and watch. Diddy dropped a performance to remember other than being a host. In his medley featuring Jack Harlow, Bryson Tiller and Teyana Taylor at the award show he was quoted saying “ if you all don't seem hype enough, I may need to do one of my numbers back from whatever”

The evening’s host later paid tribute to his late friend The Notorious B.I.G. By performing “ Mo Money Mo Problems” it was a celebration of music and lyrics with a dash of fashion and right acknowledgement of recent talent in rising.
