Faryal Makhdoom shares heartbreak after tragic death of Amir Khan's baby nephew

Faryal Makhdoom has shared a moving tribute following the tragic death of Amir Khan's baby nephew on July 1.

The legendary boxer's nephew, Abdul, was the son of Amir's brother Haroon and was sadly stillborn.

The family have come together to mourn the youngster's death and were able to have a socially distanced funeral.

Taking to social media, the 28-year-old YouTuber shared a quote from the Quran in memory of Abdul.

"Indeed we return to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return," the post read.

Sharing a picture from the child's funeral with her 898,000 Instagram followers, Faryal also posted a touching message in honour of the child.

"May your soul Rest in Peace angel," she wrote, alongside a picture of Amir paying his tributes at the side of Abdul's grave.

Faryal has received lots of messages from her fans wishing their condolences following the devastating news.

Just one day ago, Amir also took to social media to reveal the heartbreaking news on his profile about his baby nephew's death.

In the heartfelt message, the former Olympian wrote: "Tough day for the family. My nephew, son of my brother Haroon Khan passed away yesterday. The new born didn’t make it.

"May Allah make it easy for the family, especially the mother and father, please keep us in your prayers."

Amir, who shares children Lamaisah, six, Alayna, two, and Muhammed, four months, with Faryal, is said to have a close relationship with his brother Haroon, who is also a boxer.

The family's tragic loss came shortly after Faryal launched an online campaign to support the family of a young girl called Zohra Shah who was tragically 'beaten to death' in Pakistan.

Speaking about the movement in early June, Faryal and her husband helped to set up a foundation in an attempt to raise money to protect children in the country.
