Farmfoods shoppers celebrate return of 90s 'childhood' drink

Farmfoods customers have hailed the comeback of a drink product that was a "favourite" amongst kids who grew up in the 1990s.

One shopper saw that the bargain giant now stocks Squeeze It Twist & Squeeze soft drinks in boxes of four. Two of the flavours that can be purchased are apple and raspberry, and apple and blackcurrant.

Squeeze It is a brand of fruit juice drinks that was originally on sale between 1985 and 2001. The name of the product came from its plastic bottle, that needed to be squeezed to open.

The post has been liked more than 330 times, and has received more than 100 comments. Both Farmfoods and Squeeze It enthusiasts gave their verdict on the product.

"Omg blast from the past," one commented, while a second agreed: "Memories".

A third posted: "Holy **** that’s unlocked a memory or two".

"I remember these I used to have them," wrote a fourth.

"I loved these as wean but they ain’t the same as what they where," a second echoed.

Others posted different retailers that Squeeze It drinks could be bought from.

One suggested: "Try local corner shops too if anyone doesn't have a Farmfoods as they sell them also".

"Poundstretchers have these too," shared a second, while a third commented: "B&M also sell them".
