Farmers endure another crushing week as Trump trade war drags on

Farmers were hit with a trio of ominous news this week as the trade war with China pushes on with no signs of a deal on the horizon, Bloomberg reports.


Details:

  1. The Agriculture Department projected that soybean exports would remain below pre-trade war levels for another 8 years.
  2. We learned that soybeans had their worst week ever last month.
  3. The Federal Reserve of Kansas City warned "that farm incomes would likely have a weak start in 2019 and that lenders were tightening credit."
