Farmer Wants A Wife 2026 contestant Miranda Chopping made it abundantly clear on the reality show that she didn’t sign up for the experience to make friends. Not only did she repeatedly badmouth her co-stars in her piece-to-camera interviews, but she also brought two of them to tears during a fiery MAFS-style confrontation across the dinner table.
Farmer Zac finally sent the 21-year-old real estate professional packing in Sunday night’s episode after he saw first-hand how she spoke to fellow contestant Maya, and the remaining ladies (and viewers) all breathed a collective sigh of relief. So, now that her experience on the farm is done and dusted and it’s been a few months since filming wrapped, has Miranda stayed in contact with any of her co-stars?
Miranda reveals where she stands with her FWAW co-stars now
The Queensland-based contestant told PEDESTRIAN.TV that she’s maintained a close friendship with her Melbourne-based co-star Mieke since meeting on the show, although distance has prevented them from seeing each other regularly.
“I’m definitely still close with Meike. We’ve only hung out a few times since the show, but we definitely still catch each other up on everything and debrief after each episode, because obviously we have that sort of trauma bond now,” she shared.
As for the other girls on the farm — Maya, Grace and Jessica — Miranda described their relationship as “civil” and admitted that they’ve had limited contact since filming.
“[Maya and I] are friendly, but we don’t talk every day and we don’t check in with each other, but we don’t hate each other either. We’re just not really in contact,” she said.
“After the show, we did kind of clear the air and just made it known that we don’t hate each other. And also, when you’re in that environment, it’s hard to avoid those situations. If there’s no drama, there’s no show, so it’s important the audience remembers that, and there is a lot that isn’t shown.”
Would Miranda do another reality show?
While Miranda’s stint on Farmer Wants A Wife has wrapped up, she’s already admitted she would be open to appearing on a future reality show.
“I am very open-minded and I do continue to say I give everything a go, so I think it would depend on the opportunity and when it came up, but I’m not closed off to anything,” she teased to P.TV.
If it were up to me, I’d get her into The Traitors castle ASAP so she could put her confrontation skills and iconic one-liners (“it’s giving desperate”) to good use. Casting producers, are you listening?!
