Farmer Wants A Wife’s Bridget & Emmie-Rose Reveal Why They Left Tom’s Farm And The Tea Is Wild

Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) Australia 2025 has been rocked by another series of rogue social media posts. This time, it’s from the two contestants who abruptly left Farmer Tom‘s farm earlier this week, revealing why they decided to ditch the rodeo.

ICYMI, Farmer Tom was left with only three suitors after two contestants, Emmie-Rose and Bridget, decided to yeet on out of his farm without saying goodbye (allegedly).

At the time, viewers who watched the drama unfold labelled the duo as “selfish” and “rude” for completely ghosting the farmer. However, both Bridget and Emmie-Rose have come forward with scathing claims that explain why they moseyed on out!

Why did Bridget leave Farmer Tom on Farmer Wants A Wife?

Kicking off the ‘yuge tea spill, Bridget’s sweet, sweet doggo Lacey shared a comment revealing exactly why her “Ma” (AKA Bridget, for those who haven’t caught on) hit the road.

“There’s so much the show didn’t reveal,” Bridget sneakily claimed as Lacey.

“They left out the moment when the farmer was openly rude to my Ma in front of everyone, just hours after she arrived on the farm. Other contestants and the House A/P (featured in my story) immediately checked in with her, concerned about how she’d been treated.

“My Ma retreated to her room to read a book because this made her feel safe in an uncomfortable environment.”

Further in the comment, Bridget claimed that Tom eventually apologised for his behaviour and “admitted to all the ladies that he hadn’t applied for the show himself”, and that it was his MOTHER who did it.

“Most importantly, despite everything, both Emmie-Rose and my Ma graciously thanked Farmer Tom off-camera and wished him well before the film crew even arrived,” Bridget added.

“She handled herself with grace and dignity in a toxic situation, doing the best she could under circumstances that were far from what viewers were shown.”

Why did Emmie-Rose leave Farmer Tom on Farmer Wants A Wife?

Emmie-Rose shared her own cheeky tea spill on why she decided to ditch the farm during an IG Q&A. Similarly to Bridget, she just didn’t tolerate Farmer Tom’s alleged behaviour (and purr, that’s on sisterhood).

“I’ve got absolutely zero tolerance for grown adults who think it’s okay to bully, belittle, or gang up on someone,” Emmie-Rose claimed.

“It’s pathetic, and it says more about the person you’re targeting.

“Watching someone constantly get dragged down by the same toxic behaviour? Not on my watch. I will always stand up for the ones who are kind, quiet, or different because they deserve support, not cruelty. We’re too old for high school drama. Be better.

“I left the farm because I wasn’t going to settle for disrespect. What was happening behind the scenes didn’t align with who I am or what I stand for. There was immaturity, selfishness, and toxic behaviour that I wasn’t willing to tolerate, especially from someone I was supposed to be building a connection with. Walking away was the healthiest and BEST choice I could make for myself.”

In a separate IG Story, Emmie-Rose insists that she was on FWAW for the right reasons, and that she got instant “icky vibes” as soon as she jumped on Tom’s farm, which led to her abrupt departure.

She went on to slam Tom, stating he was “immature” and a “fuckwit”. OOFT.

Spicy, spicy, spicy.

Honestly, if FWAW is not the wholesome show we all know and love, I truly believe that love is DEAD. Guess my last option is Married At First Sight. Hopefully, like Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels, the experts set me up with my ex-Hawaii fling. WOOPS I said too much.

At the time of writing, neither Channel Seven nor Farmer Wants A Wife has released a statement regarding Emmie-Rose or Bridget’s (or should I say, Lacey’s) claims.
