This season of Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) has been filled with scandals. The latest? One contestant accused another of sneaking off in the middle of the night to boink a farmer. Juicy, no?
On Tuesday night, FWAW newcomer contestant Annie started worrying that she wasn’t getting enough time with her potential boo, Farmer Corey. Although Corey assured her that his heart was still up for grabs, her fears grew when she woke in the middle of the night and noticed that her roommate, fellow contestant Keeley, was nowhere to be seen.
In a move that I resonate with on a personal level, Annie came to the conclusion that Keeley had snuck off with the hunky farmer. In a chat with TV WEEK, Annie revealed that the girls on Corey’s farm had made a no sex pact for their time on the show.
“We had conversations — I think they’re all off camera — about sex in the household. Corey didn’t want to do that. Other farms might do it, but he wasn’t silly about that,” she said.
It was one of the reasons she ended up deciding to bring it up with Keeley the next morning. However, Keeley wasn’t happy about the confrontation.
“I think that’s a very unfair insinuation on me,” she replied. Later, Annie asked Corey, and he denied that he’d been smoochin’ with Keeley in the middle of the night. Despite this, Annie decided to leave the show.
In a chat with Yahoo! Lifestyle, Annie revealed that she still thinks something went down between Corey and Keeley that night.
“I don’t know where she was, I’ll be honest, I’m not going to change my mind, because I know what I saw. However, I could be wrong, they could have also been in a different spot, but I don’t think that was the case,” she said, adding that while she thinks they were together, she doesn’t want to be “presumptuous” about what they were doing.
Annie also felt that Corey’s clap back to her was kind of intense.
“As soon as he said that, I felt like I was being gaslit a little bit…I felt like Corey went in a bit hard, which I’d never seen that side to him,” Annie explained to Yahoo! Lifestyle.
“I don’t ever want to feel that way, and I don’t want anyone to diminish my feelings. I just made the decision to take him out for a chat. I was super upset because I felt like I just shouldn’t have said anything.
“I just wanted him to understand how I was feeling, and it all just came back into my face and it just made me look like I was the issue, or I was making something up just for the drama, but that’s just not in my nature. If anything, I completely avoid drama. So, for me, it was just a very uncomfortable situation.”
