A farmer was airlifted to hospital after suffering from a serious injury yesterday.
Charity group Irish Community Rapid Response received a call on Tuesday morning before rushing to help the farmer who was found in an 'isolated' rural area before taking them to get treated
In a spot on social media the group said: "Today we responded to an emergency call where a farmer had been seriously injured in an isolated rural location. We brought the patient to hospital for trauma care.
"Nobody starts their day expecting to need us. It's a frontline service that needs your support."
