Farm laws: All JJP MLAs ready to quit in case of any risk to MSP, says Haryana deputy CM Dushyant Chautala

CHANDIGARH: Haryana deputy CM Dushyant Chautala said that all his 10 MLAs from Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) are ready to quit if there is any risk to minimum support price (MSP). He added that there is a lot of misinformation being spread about farm laws that MSP will go, Mandis will close and farmers land will be encroached upon.

"It is said MSP will go, Mandis will be closed and farmers land will be usurped. We will quit in one day and oppose defiantly if any of that happens," he said.

Terming it as an "misinformation", he said that new mandis have come up in Haryana.

"If mandis were closing, procurement would not have happened at so many centres. There is a misunderstanding that farmers' land will be encroached. In last ten months, not one such case has been reported", he said.
