Keep a stiff upper lip and don’t show any emotion in front of the servants but tonight (9pm on ITV) marks the last ever episode of Downton Abbey. The planet-conquering period drama will bid a final farewell with its annual Christmas special but autumnal Sunday evenings will never be the same again.
