
The early bloom of orange lilies are seen at Kurobane Lily Garden in Otawara, Tochigi Prefecture, on Wednesday. About 13,000 lilies in 40 varieties are planted in the 2,500-square-meter garden. Opened in 1991, the garden has been run by a group of local residents. But it will close on July 19 due to the aging of the association members.
