America's Merriam-Webster dictionary has finally decided to bite the bullet and add "google" as a verb in its 2006 edition, making the search engine officially synonymous with the act of searching itself. "To google" arrives alongside almost-forgotten terms like "mouse potato" and "himbo" (attractive, vacuous -- and male) and apparently techy terms like spyware and ringtone.
