The Arizona Cardinals will take on the Cincinnati Bengals on the road at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati at 10 a.m. Arizona time. Both teams haven’t found luck in the win column but that is sure to change Sunday.
Both teams have struggled heavily on the offensive side of the ball, as the Cardinals and Bengals rank No. 25 and No. 30 in scoring offense respectively. Even with an offensive deficiency that these teams possess, there is still some fantasy value to be garnered from both teams and that could potentially make the difference winning and losing your fantasy league.
Here are some fantasy projections for some notable Cardinals players:
RB David Johnson

Projection: 51 rushing yards, one touchdown, four receptions, 46 receiving yards, 20.3 fantasy points.
The Bengals rank dead last in giving up fantasy points at the running back position which sets up David Johnson for a nice game. Johnson is currently the No. 7 running back fantasy in PPR (points per reception) leagues due to his high upside as a receiver. He should be started with confidence in all PPR formats.
QB Kyler Murray

Projection: 29-for-40 passing, 214 passing yards, one touchdown, one interception, four rushes, 32 rushing yards, 13.72 fantasy points
The Bengals rank 21st at the position at giving up points to opposing QBs. Kyler Murray’s athleticism has saved many fantasy days while also throwing the ball a lot. Murray normally throws for one touchdown a game, and he will be without wide receiver Christian Kirk who is dealing with an ankle injury. Murray’s running ability will once again prove vital to a solid fantasy day. However, I can see the Bengals forcing Murray to beat them throwing the football now that he’s been running the ball consistently. I don’t see a lot of points here even for a decent matchup.
WR Larry Fitzgerald

Projection: 5 receptions, 40 receiving yards, 9.6 fantasy points.
With no Christian Kirk, defenses will pay more attention to the Hall of Fame receiver. The next receivers on the Cardinals depth chart are unproven entities in KeeSean Johnson, Damiere Byrd(health permitting), Andy Isabella and Trent Sherfield. The Bengals are also a tough matchup for opposing wideouts as they rank fourth in fantasy.
K Zane Gonzalez

Projection: 3/4 field goals, one 30-yard field goal, two 40-yard field goals, 11.0 fantasy points
Last week was Zane Gonzalez’s first bad game of the season as he was only 1-for-3 on field goals. He’s been perfect throughout the season and is still the seventh-ranked kicker in fantasy. Gonzalez is still a solid pickup if you need an extra boost from your kicking game.
