Fantasy football Week 8 injury report: Ja’Marr Chase and Deebo Samuel headline list of NFL players who won’t play this week

Injuries suck, but they are a part of professional sports. Of course, they’re also part of fantasy sports and betting. In both instances, they can be the difference between wins and losses on a weekly basis.

As a fantasy football manager, you’ll need to know which players are in and which are out. We’re here to help you keep a tab on all of the important ones.

Many of the NFL’s biggest names are going to miss Week 8 with injuries. For fantasy football managers and DFS players, you’re going to want to pay attention to this list.

Here’s a quick look at who will and won’t play, and whose status will be decided on game day.

Bummer. The Bengals’ offense was beginning to hit its stride. On the bright side, at least Chase isn’t headed to the IR.

QB Russell Wilson - Denver Broncos

The airplane stretches surely did the trick. Wilson is back as the Broncos QB1 for their London Matchup with the Jaguars.

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - Detroit Lions

St. Brown entered the concussion protocols last Sunday. He appears to be on track to play in Week 8.

WR Allen Lazard - Green Bay Packers

Lazard is out for Sunday night’s game against the Bills after suffering a shoulder injury. Check out his take on what happened to his shoulder last week when suffering the injury.

It sounds like Zeke will not eat in Week 8. He’s officially listed as doubtful.

WR Brandin Cooks - Houston Texans

Interesting. Cooks was a full participant in practice all week long but appears on the injury report. Trade coming?

TE Darren Waller - Las Vegas Raiders

Waller will either play for the first time since Week 4 or miss his third straight game. Hammy injuries are tough to deal with.

WRs Tyler Lockett, D.K. Metcalf - Seattle Seahawks

Truly a “wait and see” approach when it comes to Seattle’s two receivers.

WR Devante Adams - Las Vegas Raiders

All signs are pointing to Davante Adams playing on Sunday. Of course, he is listed as questionable. So, we’ll see what happens.

RB James Conner - Arizona Cardinals

(Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports)

Make that three missed games in a row for Conner.

WRs Jarvis Landry, Michael Thomas - New Orleans Saints

(Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports)

Injuries continue to do a number on the Saints this season. Thomas will miss his 5th consecutive game. Landry will miss his fourth.

TE David Njoku - Cleveland Browns

(Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports)

It’s probably going to be a little while before we see Njoku on the field again. A calf injury will keep him from playing on Monday night against the Bengals.

WR Corey Davis - New York Jets

(Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports)

Corey Davis is OUT.

WR Deebo Samuel - San Francisco 49ers

(Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports)

Deebo usually cooks the Rams. He won’t be able to do so this Sunday due to a bad hammy.
