Four of the five quarterbacks selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft will start this weekend.
The lone clipboard holder remains Lamar Jackson, because Joe Flacco is still stubbornly serviceable.
Sam Darnold began the year as the Jets starter, and has had his moments. Josh Allen led the Bills to the shocking upset of the Vikings last weekend. We all knew it was a matter of time before the Cardinals switched out Sam Bradford for Josh Rosen (although I am surprised it has nothing to do with an injury).
It's Baker Mayfield who excites me the most for fantasy purposes _ well at least until Jackson supplants Flacco. The Browns offense looked like it found a new gear when the top overall draft pick replaced an injured Tyrod Taylor against the Jets last Thursday night.
Mayfield raises the fantasy profile of players like Antonio Callaway and David Njoku. He's not a fantasy starter, yet, but he's the only rookie quarterback who deserves to be rostered outside of dynasty leagues at this point.
