It's been a tough week for future Hall of Fame quarterbacks (and Eli Manning).
On Sunday, Ben Roethlisberger tried to play through a busted elbow against the Seahawks and got pulled at halftime. He's done for the season.
Later in the afternoon, Drew Brees' thumb ricocheted off Aaron Donald's helmet. He's going to miss at least a month.
On Tuesday, the Giants announced rookie quarterback Daniel Jones would be this week's starter after Manning was ineffective in two straight losses to open the season.
It's clear the Roethlisberger and Brees injuries will force us to reevaluate our other Steelers and Saints, but don't downgrade them too much without seeing the teams after a week of practice under their belt.
Also, I wouldn't concern myself with the Giants quarterback situation. Neither Jones nor Manning will be relevant this season. Besides, Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram will produce with either under center.
