Fantasy football Week 2: Start and sit

If you started Ryan Fitzpatrick in your fantasy league last week, I'd also like to take a look at that bridge in Brooklyn you recently listed on eBay.

The NFL's first week is always volatile.

Players like the Ivy League educated Fitzpatrick (417 passing yards and five total touchdowns) and Seattle's blocking tight end extraordinaire Will Dissly (105 yards and a TD) explode from the shadows to wow and tempt us. Don't bother. These are merely distractions.

There are more pressing questions that need your attention, especially if you drafted Le'Veon Bell. Bell is no longer listed on Pittsburgh's depth chart, three days after James Conner generated nearly 200 total yards against Cleveland.

Bell doesn't have to return until the Tuesday after Week 10 in order to preserve his free agent status for the offseason. Having dealt with the Ezekiel Elliott suspension drama from a year ago on multiple fantasy teams of mine, I'd personally contact every owner in my league and sell to the highest bidder.

With each passing week, his value diminishes exponentially.
