Fantasy football Week 14 streaming options: Zonovan Knight and Cam Akers are the perfect rentals

Trying to craft the perfect fantasy football lineup each week is tough to do. Whether you loaded up on running backs and receivers but left the quarterback spot thin, or stacked up on the skill positions and bypassed a quality defense or kicker in your draft, there’s that one spot in your weekly lineup that’s driving you crazy.

Lucky for you, streaming is an option. And we’re here to help you figure out the best players to stream on a weekly basis.

Some fantasy leagues are beginning playoffs this week and others won’t start until the following weekend. As we all try to maneuver through the NFL’s decision to schedule six teams for Week 14 byes, we are offering some guidance here at Bet For The Win.

Here are our best streaming options ahead of Week 14.

Mac Jones – New England Patriots

If you don’t mind waiting until Monday night, Mac Jones might be the best available streaming option for Week 14. Arizona’s defense has been pretty inconsistent.

Mike White – New York Jets

Look, I don’t know if Mike White can lead the Jets to a victory over the Bills or not, but I do know that he is going to be letting it rip on Sunday. Lots of throws equal plenty of opportunities for him to rack up the yards. Maybe he finds Garrett Wilson in the end zone.

Running Backs

Zonovan Knight – New York Jets

By this point, Knight isn’t just a one-week rental, he should be added with the intent of keeping him on your fantasy roster. He’s the Jets’ lead back and has performed well even without finding the end zone.

Cam Akers – Los Angeles Rams

Seventeen carries for 60 yards and two rushing touchdowns — those are Cam Akers’ stats from last weekend. Somehow, he’s the only remaining reliable back on the Rams and they’re content with feeding him the ball toward the tail-end of this awful season. He’ll have plenty of opportunities against the Raiders.

Wide Receivers

Darius Slayton – New York Giants

The G-Men like taking their shots deep down the field to Slayton. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. Regardless, the opportunities are usually there. All it takes is one big play from him to make him valuable in fantasy leagues as a streamer.

Zay Jones – Jacksonville Jaguars

Jones had a stinker last week against the Lions but so did just about everyone else on the Jags’ roster. Throw it out and consider it an anomaly. Jones should be in a solid spot this week for a return to production against Tennessee. Think he has streaming potential.

Tight Ends

Greg Dulcich – Denver Broncos

Russell Wilson loves throwing the football to Greg Dulcich. The tight end caught six of eight targets last weekend and turned them into 85 yards. He’s one of the Broncos offense’s few good remaining options. He should see his share of opportunities against the Chiefs.

Cade Otton – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Prior to the last month of NFL games, I can’t say that I knew much about Cade Otton. I still don’t, but he’s scored twice and caught 14 passes over the last three games. Obviously, Tom Brady is comfortable throwing him the football, so perhaps we should be comfortable streaming him.

Defenses

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers’ defense isn’t great but they have a couple of game-changing players (Minkah Fitzpatrick and TJ Watt) who make big-time plays. When you consider that and then understand that Pittsburgh is about to face a struggling Ravens offense that is now going to use its backup quarterback, the Steelers feel like a good one-week rental.
