Fantasy football Week 10: Start and sit

Dez Bryant is no longer unemployed. He agreed to terms on a one-year deal with New Orleans on Wednesday.

I can see the wheels spinning now. A former elite wide receiver joining one of the best offenses in the NFL must equal fantasy gold.

I can also hear the naysayers. Isn't this the same receiver who averaged 50 receptions, 678 yards and six touchdowns over his past three seasons in Dallas?

Reality lies somewhere between.

Bryant isn't over-the-hill. He turned 30 years old on Sunday.

The last time he was dominant was 2014. Injuries and Jason Garrett are mostly to blame.

Bryant won't threaten the value of Michael Thomas or Alvin Kamara. I don't even expect him to hurt vertical threat Tre'Quan Smith. Benjamin Watson will likely lose some red zone targets though.

Don't pick Bryant up expecting a savior, but he definitely deserves to be rostered and I'd treat him as a touchdown-dependent flex option going forward.
