James Maddison
Even though Manchester United’s underlying defensive numbers have been encouraging, their resolve could well be tested by a lively Leicester City this weekend.
Maddison offers both creative threat and scoring potential, even if he is yet to find the target. Only Mason Mount has attempted more shots among midfielders.
Sebastian Haller
After a brace at Watford, Haller scored again before the international break against Norwich and was unlucky not to win a penalty.
Is he this year’s Raul Jimenez, if slightly more expensive? Another haul away to Aston Villa is by all means possible, and a price hike would surely follow.
Danny Rose
Given Tottenham’s unconvincing start, it may be wise to steer clear of Mauricio Pochettino’s players for now. But with Crystal Palace’s visit comes hope of a turnaround in form.
Palace have a decent record against the top six away from home but will hardly be the most ambitious of guests, making the likes of Rose or Toby Alderweireld worth considering.
