On Thursday, the New York Giants will travel to Foxborough to battle the New England Patriots on a short week for Big Blue. And with the spread set the way it is, it doesn’t seem like Vegas is giving the Giants much of a chance.
However, as many upsets proved, that’s why they play the game.
Let’s take a look at some players you should consider starting in your fantasy lineup Thursday Night.

Tom Brady, QB
Brady & Co. have been very productive this year so far. I expect big things from the Patriots offense against the Giants defense, which has struggled mightily this year.
The Giants give up the seventh-most points to opposing QBs this year and the Patriots have one of the best offenses in the league. Needless to say, i’s going to be a very tough test for the Big Blue defense.

Golden Tate, WR
Golden Tate and Daniel Jones have played just one game together. Saquon Barkley is now unlikely to play on Thursday, so the Giants may have to look to the passing game with their star running back out.
Sterling Shepard is likely out with a concussion and Evan Engram is also now likely out due to an MCL sprain, which only compounds issues.
The Patriots defense has been tough this year giving up the fewest amount of fantasy points against opposing wide receivers and quarterbacks, second-fewest against opposing running backs and the third-fewest against opposing tight ends.
While they may scare many away from starting any Giants player on Thursday, if there is one to start, it would be Tate, who may have a big week since the Giants are going to be without so many of their key weapons.

Josh Gordon, WR
After the way Dalvin Cook carved up the Giants defense in Big Blue’s last game, many will look to start a running back again in Week 6. But if you have played fantasy for a while, you know how much of a crap-shoot the Patriots backfield is.
The way Bill Bellichick uses his running backs makes it hard to know who is going to get the workload that week. However, starting Josh Gordon against the Giants this week is an easy decision.
Gordon is currently questionable for Thursday nights game, but if he is on the field, he should certainly be in your starting lineup. Gordon will be going up against the defense that has surrendered the second-most fantasy points to opposing wide outs.
There are many good options to start on the Pats, but Josh Gordon seems like he could have a big game considering what Mike Evans did to the Giants just a few short weeks ago.
