The book is about three ugly farmers – one called Farmer Bean, one called Farmer Bunce, and one called Farmer Boggis – and a family of foxes. There are three small baby foxes and their parents, Mr and Mrs Fox. Boggis, Bunce and Bean try to get the foxes. Mr Fox's plan is to dig a hole that they are making much bigger in order to trick the farmers.
I like the illustrations in the book because they are very detailed and hilarious. I would recommend this book for 7-9 year olds.
