'Fantastic move, release Sarri first!' - These Chelsea fans go crazy amid links to Arsenal star

Reports that Petr Cech is in line for a return to Chelsea has garnered a massive reaction from supporters.

The current Arsenal goalkeeper announced in January that he will retire from football at the end of the season, and his final game could turn out to be against the Blues in an Europa League final next month.

In a post via his official Twitter account, the former Czech Republic international stated that he feels it's the right time to hang up his boots and is focused on winning a trophy in his final season as a player.

But according to the Telegraph , Cech may not be away from football for too long.

It's being reported that the 36-year-old is lined up to head up a summer shake-up at Stamford Bridge as the club attempts to win round supporters who haven't been happy with the lack of progress in recent years.

Furthermore, it is understood that Cech wiill assess all of his offers and options once his Arsenal contract expires, but Chelsea believe they can tempt him back to the club with a job within what could be a new technical set-up.

A signing from London rivals Chelsea in the summer of 2015, the four-year deal he signed comes to an end this summer and he's currently the second choice goalkeeper after losing his place to Bernd Leno back in September because of injury.

The fact he could be back at Stamford Bridge in a coaching capacity in the near future has delighted a number of Chelsea fans.
