Matty Cash says Nottingham Forest teammate Aro Muric is a 'fantastic keeper' despite his testing debut.
Muric was at fault for West Bromwich Albion's first goal in Saturday's 2-1 defeat before being beaten in freak circumstances by a deep cross from the right.
Forest's goalscorer Cash is in no doubt the Manchester City goalkeeper will be a major success during his season-long loan at the City Ground.
“He is a fantastic keeper and everyone makes mistakes. He is a great player, who has come from one of the top clubs. He would not be there if he was not a top player,” said Cash.
“He is a great addition to the club and I am sure he will be fine, definitely.
“We felt the mood of the game change. We needed to stay on the front foot after getting the goal. It is disappointing that we did not do that. But we have to learn from the mistakes we made.
“They were great at killing time. When you are leading in a game you like to do that. They were winning and, in that position, every team wants to slow the game down as much as possible.
“The league is so tough and there will be spells when we are on a high and we are winning. When we are losing, or when we have lost, we have to stay positive.
“The crowd the players, everyone has to be together.”
