Fans wonder what Falcons are up to after adding $7M in cap space

According to a report from ESPN’s Field Yates, the Atlanta Falcons freed up over $7 million in salary cap space on Wednesday by restructuring Jake Matthews’ contract.

What exactly is the team up to? Could the Falcons be looking to make a trade, or perhaps add a free agent? The team did just place starting linebacker Troy Andersen on the injured reserve list.
