Fans trend 'No Akshay Kumar, No Hera Pheri 3' as makers replace the 'Khiladi' star with Kartik Aaryan as Raju in the sequel

Reports of Akshay Kumar dropping out of ‘Hera Pheri 3’ and makers roping in Kartik Aaryan to replace the actor as Raju in the sequel have spread like wildfire.

Ever since then, netizens have been expressing their disappointment over the same. Fans of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan also came together to protest against replacing Akshay as Raju in ‘Hera Pheri 3’. The hashtag #NoAkshayKumarNoHeraPheri3 was also used by fans to start a Twitter trend.

While one of the fans wrote, ‘If Paresh Rawal is A Heart of Hera Pheri series then #AkshayKumar is the soul. Without Akshay #HeraPheri3 will be like a dead body without soul’, another one added, ‘It’s impossible to imagine any other actor as Raju other than Akshay.’

Check out some of the Tweets here:

Spilling the beans on why he opted out of the most-awaited sequel of the popular franchise, Akshay told at an event that ‘Hera Pheri’ is a part of his life and his journey. The actor stated that he is very upset that he is not part of it but he is not happy with how things have shaped up, the creative aspects. So he just backed out.

Akshay also went on to add that he is grateful to his fans and that he saw 'No Raju, No Hera Pheri' trending on Twitter. According to him, as much as they are hurt, he is hurt too.
