It took four months for Gigi Hadid to decide to share her daughter Khai's name with the world.
But eagle-eyed fans have claimed that Gigi's boyfriend Zayn Malik may already have quietly shared the name of their child with the world - in the form of a tattoo tribute on his wrist.
The inking was noticed by a fan who was watching an Instagram Live shared by the heavily tattooed former One Direction star a few days before Gigi's announcement.
Written in red on the inside of his wrist in red ink, it is thought to say Khai in Arabic.
However others noted that it could also be a tribute to Zayn's grandmother - Khairiah.
Sharing the image to Twitter, the user wrote: "zayn has his baby girl’s name “khai” tattooed on his in arabic!"
It comes after Gigi changed her Instagram bio details to confirm her daughter's name.
Khai means "the chosen one" and "royalty or nobility" and comes from Egyptian descent.
Gigi and Zayn have kept their daughter's face off social media, but have shared snaps of themselves as parents.
"My girl, 4 months & The best kid", Gigi wrote alongside one snap, adding an angel emoji.
Zayn, who released the album Nobody Is Listening earlier this month, first announced Khai's birth on social media in September.
