Fans revel as 'Bielsa ball' clip of Leeds United in action against Cagliari goes viral on Twitter

Over 90,000 people have now watched a video clip on Twitter of Leeds United's match against Cagliari on Saturday.

In it, Leeds United are seen turning defence into attack against the Italian side, as fans described it as 'Bielsa ball' with comparisons to Brazil and Barcelona.

The whites only managed a 1-1 draw in the game - their final pre-season friendly ahead of the new Championship campaign.

Cagliari took the lead in the first half before Pablo Hernandez equalised from the spot early in the second.

Kalvin Phillips created last minute drama in the friendly when he saw red for a challenge.

Despit the scoreline there was this one 30-second clip that had fans excited about the football to come under Marcelo Bielsa in his second season in charge. Arguably, it should have resulted in a goal, but that didn't stop fans revelling in the build-up play.

Take a look at the clip below:

One fan responded saying 'what a goal that would have been' while another said 'some great football there'.

"Can't tell you how much I've missed this", was the response from another supporter.
