It’s time for another instalment of Big Brother Australia, and this week, the stakes were higher than the nearby Giant Drop at Dreamworld.
Big Brother Australia spoilers ahead. Proceed with caution.
A whopping four (!) nominations were dolled out as we approached the end of this reboot season, and in true Big Brother fashion, the housemates have saved their most chaotic moments for the final days.

But before they got there, the housemates were still in the thick of their Christmas carol challenge (the one that Vinnie will now hear in his nightmares). Despite all the cheery tunes, Ed seemed anything but festive, with the challenge seemingly prompting a major crash-out from the already controversial housemate.
Bagging a spot on the naughty list, Ed told Allana to “shut up” and threatened to spoil Colin‘s exxy pair of shoes after a prank gone wrong — so it’s safe to say the Feliz Navidad vibes were a little bit… off? Things only worsened when Vinnie’s departing messages fanned the flames (and the gossiping) even further — sparking the starkest house divide we’ve seen this season.

The source of the divide depends on who you ask, but Ed’s antics landed him on the nominations list — though not as high as up the board as some fans would’ve hoped. So, as we near the next eviction and our finalist housemates, has Ed reached his peak villain era? Have a quiz at what some fans think.
While the fan reaction might point one way, Big Brother always has a few twists and turns up his sleeve. So we’ll have to wait and see how it all play out in the last remaining episodes. I’m strapped in like those guys on the nearby Giant Drop.
Big Brother Australia is on Monday to Friday at 7.30pm and Sundays at 7pm. Watch and live stream 24/7 on 10play or on TikTok @bigbrotherau.
