As you might expect, Washington Football Team Twitter was an interesting place to be during Sunday’s Week 3 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
On Sunday, Washington fell to Buffalo, 43-21, and fans blamed everyone from Taylor Heinicke to the defensive line to Kirk Cousins. Ok, I am kidding about Cousins.
As has become the norm, Washington’s defense proved to be its undoing on Sunday. The Bills had 312 total yards — by halftime — and finished the game with 481 total yards. If not for Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott’s immense respect for Washington coach Ron Rivera, the yardage totals and the score would have been even more significant.
Fans were not happy.
