Conor McGregor has been slammed for encouraging his three-year-old son to punch a kid “in the mouth” as they relaxed on the beach.
The Notorious shared a video with his 39.9 million Instagram followers of a chat with Conor Jnr, who it seems had been hit by another child.
The former two-weight UFC champion could be seen showing him his medallion, as he said: “That’s the McGregor family crown, champ.
“This is the McGregor family crest. It’s a lion’s head with a crown on it because you are a king, champ. We are kings.
“Bash anyone that says anything, you hear?”
Father of two McGregor, who is holidaying in Dubai with his family, then asked his young son: “Did he hit did you? Where did he hit you? Hit him back. Hit him in the mouth.
The Dublin star can then be seen kissing his son before saying: “I’m going to give you some boxing training, come on. Hands up.”
However, many fans were horrified with the fighter’s parenting techniques.
One said: “That’s not how you bring a child up, teaching him to smack children. Teach him to be kind and respectful.”
While another added: "Absolute disgrace he should be teaching his son good values. Hope his son doesn’t follow in his dad’s steps.”
A third disgusted fan said: “Lovely. Telling a kid to go for the mouth or nose to hit another kid. Great parenting, not!’
Another posted: “Wrong in a lot of ways. I’m not a parent but don’t teach your kid to go fight in the street. Teach your kid to be better than that.
“The bigger man walks away. Only use self-defence if you have too. Teach him that, champ.”
McGregor recently revealed partner Dee Devlin is expecting a baby boy and that the new arrival is due in a “few weeks."
