Fans of the Premier League big six remain confident their clubs can finish top

It comes as part of being a fan that you always have faith in your club no matter how well they are playing, and for fans of Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, there is no exception.

With tens of thousands of votes, supporters gave their predictions on who would light up the Premier League and help their club on their quest for the trophy.

Unanimously, supporters of all six clubs believe their club will finish top of the table, Chelsea and City fans being most certain of their club's chances.

Not only were they predicting their Premier League final position but also who their club would rely on to get them there.

When it came to top goal scorers, there were no surprises for the majority of the clubs.

For Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku was firmly the favourite to be top goalscorer, Son Hueng-Min taking the title for Tottenham fans.

Liverpudlian supporters needed no convincing of Mohamed Salah's worth, with 80% certain that he would be their goal scoring machine.

Other clubs were less sure of who would be their finisher, Raheem Sterling getting 44% of the votes from City fans, Bruno Fernandes with 53% of the vote share from United fans and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang getting just 32% of the vote from Arsenal supporters.

It seems City fans are holding out to see if Harry Kane will be at the Etihad before the end of the transfer window.

Fans also chose who they believe will be the surprise package of the season, Ferran Torres of Manchester City gaining 53% of the vote from Blues supporters as the one to watch.

Chelsea's Timo Werner was backed by fans to have a season to remember too, with United supporters confident that Donny van de Beek would have a resurgence, claiming 44% of the vote share from the Reds fans.

Other choices were Harvey Elliott for Liverpool, Dele Alli for Spurs and Albert Sambi Lokonga for the Gunners.

Every club has a young star tipped to shine and no fans were more sure than Liverpool supporters that Harvey Elliott would be their young player of the season, taking 71% of the vote.

Chelsea fans backed Callum Hudson-Odoi as their young player of the season with 59% of their vote, Japhet Tanganga being backed by 46% of Spurs fans.

Other clubs were more split on who would make their break for the first team, Man City fans sharing the vote between Liam Delap (35%) and Samuel Edozie (25%).

Despite being regular first team players, Gunners fans think there is more to come from Emile Smith-Rowe and Bukayo Saka, backing them to come of age in the 21/22 Premier League season.
