Fans noticed what Arsenal's Granit Xhaka did during Ruben Neves' free-kick and they're not happy

Arsenal's 3-1 defeat against Wolves was a bitter blow in their quest to secure Champions League football.

A victory at Molineux would have been enough to move the Gunners into the top four, but after such a dramatic capitulation in the first half it seems that Unai Emery's side have it all to do if they're to qualify for Europe's elite competition.

Losing a game of football is nothing to be ashamed of, and fans will often be able to stomach a defeat as long as they know that their side has given 100% and left everything on the field.

Unfortunately for Arsenal, some of the fans noticed that this wasn't the case.

It took 28 minutes for Wolves to take the lead when Ruben Neves did what he does best by hitting a wonderful free-kick past Bernd Leno.

Unfortunately, Arsenal's wall didn't cover themselves in glory when facing up to the Portuguese midfielder.

Fans noticed that instead of standing tall to block the free-kick, Granit Xhaka turned his back and ducked away from Neves' effort - leading to Wolves' opener.

Of course that strike was only the first of many on a dismal night at Molineux, but the Arsenal fans weren't too impressed with Xhaka's defending.
