Fans notice Trent Alexander-Arnold's special celebration after Liverpool defender scores stunner against Chelsea

Football fans on social media have all noticed something about Trent Alexander-Arnold's celebration.

The Liverpool defender gave his side the lead at Stamford Bridge when he curled a fantastic side-footed effort in the top corner of the net from the edge of the box.

Chelsea then thought they had levelled through César Azpilicueta, but the goal was disallowed by VAR. Before Jurgen Klopp's side went up the other end and made it 2-0 thanks to Roberto Firmino's header from close-range.

But fans reacting to the goals on social media were all talking about the same thing, as it appears that the England international used a well known celebration from the video game FIFA.

Volta, which means “to return” in Portuguese, is believed to be a reference to the street football mode on the game and sees players make a "V" sign with their hands when they score.

And that is exactly what Alexander-Arnold appeared to do in the capital - sending fans into the a frenzy on Twitter.
