Fans notice the same thing about Arsenal transfer target Wilfred Ndidi after Leicester City loss

It has not been a good weekend so far for the Premier League's current top four.

Manchester City could only claim a point at home against Crystal Palace, while Chelsea lost out 1-0 to a late Isaac Hayden goal at Newcastle United.

And Leicester City have become the latest side in the top four to drop points ahead of Liverpool's clash with Manchester United, with the Foxes losing out 2-1 against Burnley at Turf Moor.

That was despite taking the lead in the first half in Lancashire, with Harvey Barnes on target for Brendan Rodgers' side.

Everything you need to know about the January transfer window

However, goals from Chris Wood and Ashley Westwood turned the game around for the Clarets to give Sean Dyche's men a precious three points in their battle to avoid relegation.

But some fans have noticed the same thing about the Foxes in recent weeks, as can be seen below.

Wilfred Ndidi also missed the 2-1 defeat at the King Power Stadium against Southampton last week, and the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg earlier this month, with the Nigerian not featuring for the Foxes since January 4 and the 2-0 win against Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup.

Ndidi has previously been linked with Arsenal, with Gunners fans voting in our transfer survey on football.london naming him as one of the players they wanted to see join Mikel Arteta's squad in the January transfer window.

Ndidi picked up 9.09% of the vote from Arsenal fans, with only centre-back Dayot Upamecano ahead of him as the transfer the Gunners supporters want the most this month.
