The Georgia baseball team was eliminated from this year’s NCAA Tournament on Sunday night in Athens by the Florida State Seminoles 10-1.
For the second-straight season, the hosting Bulldogs lost the Athens Regional as a Top 8 national seed after a successful a regular season campaign that included 44 wins and an SEC-record 23 conference victories including Hoover.

Georgia’s baseball program has improved tremendously in the last two seasons.
Doesn’t make losing in home regionals back-to-back years any easier.

Florida State baseball beat Georgia in a pair of games by a combined 22-4.
In the 2003 Sugar Bowl, Georgia beat FSU 26-13 and I prefer to think about that.
