Simon Pagenaud dominated most of Sunday’s 103rd running of the Indy 500 but still needed to pull off a memorable pass of Alexander Rossi with just over a lap left in the race to pull off the victory.
It was the perfect ending to what was a wild final 12 laps of the The Greatest Spectacle in Racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Pagenaud led for most of the race but lost his lead to Rossi with three laps left but then took it back for good when he pulled off this memorable pass on the 198th lap.
