Fans lap up the sun as Leeds Festival temperatures hit 28°C

Anyone who went to Ed Sheeran's huge Roundhay Park gig will know that you can't rely on good weather for outdoor gigs.

After suffering one August washout, you could be forgiven for thinking that Leeds' summer of big events was cursed.

Here at Leeds Festival 2019, though, the outlook couldn't look more different.

Fans on the second day have enjoyed 28°C, with wall-to-wall sunshine shining down on the tens of thousands of fans at Bramham Park.

In truth there hasn't been a drop of rain all weekend, and the temperatures on Sunday are forecast to be even better.

The temperatures might even hit 29°C tomorrow, with Post Malone the act set to close the Main Stage.

If you're lucky enough to have a ticket, make sure you bring sun cream and plenty of water!

During this year's festival, you can find out all the latest news and gossip by visiting our Leeds Festival 2019 group. We'll bring you info on secret sets, our guide to the best acts to catch, great photos from the weekend and all the other important details you need from the Bramham Park fun.
